Who Am I?

I know what you're thinking.. Who on earth is this amazing goalkeeper? Well, let me introduce myself. I'm a 19 year old goalkeeper in pursuit of greatness. I've started playing football quite late at around 12 years old as I had moved from Poland to the UK at around age 5.

Even though I've started quite late, as soon as I started playing the sport I fell in love with it. It has been my burning desire to become a great player one day and I've been working towards that since. The highest level I've played at was at college when I played a few games with the 2nd team as we represented West Ham Foundation. Though I have also played with teams like Bowers and Pitsea and Basildon Town at youth level.

My first ever team was Beech United YFC which was a local team in Essex. In fact, in the beginning I wasn't even a goalkeeper but started as a fullback/winger, but an injury early on in my first season to our goalkeeper had me getting used to playing in goal in no time. Having won promotion 3 seasons in a row, we started falling behind against the better teams. Then one match against Bowers and Pitsea landed me a trial at their youth team which was 3 leagues above as I had performed outstanding. Having joined Bowers and Pitsea my career took a big boost as I had my first goalkeeping coach and played on much better surfaces, even stadiums for the first time. I had also started college and playing in the football academy there whilst still at Bowers.

After a few seasons there up until U17, we were underperforming and ultimately the team folded, but with more great performances I was invited to rival team Basildon Town to trial for next season.

With Basildon Town I only spent my U18 season there before I moved onto men's football with the rest of the team at Corinthians in the Essex Olympian Football League (EOFL) Division 4 which is level 14 on the English Football Pyramid.

With many ups and downs, we finished mid table, and with that I had left for a new club for the 24/25 season, Romford Town Flyers, once again a few leagues higher, now playing Step 7 football in the Essex Alliance League, hoping for a good season and hopefully promotion!
